Practices: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Optional Saturdays
Four Conference Races: September 7th & 22th, October 6th & 19th.
One High School & 8th Grade State Championship: October 27th
FEES
Team Fee: $65.00 (assumes fundraising participation by student athletes).
Covers Team Jersey, Team T-Shirt, Team Helmet, Weekly Coaching Sessions.
Registration Fee: $205.00. Paid directly to the Georgia Cycling Association. Covers rider insurance.
Series Race Fee: $160.00 for High School students (when paid by April 30th). $125.00 for Middle School Students (when paid by April 30th). Paid directly to the Georgia Cycling Association.
Scholarships to help offset fees are available through Team Cartecay, as resources allow, and are always connected to volunteer payback opportunities. The team follows a “hand up” rather than a “hand out” approach. The Georgia Cycling Association also offers student scholarship to help offset registration and race fees.
LOANER BIKES: Team Cartecay does periodically receive bicycles that are available to team members who agree to fully participate in the Team Cartecay season. The Georgia Cycling Association also has an excellent loaner bike program that has specific requirements and expectations of the student athletes. Learn more HERE.
